Hmmm, I just looked on Prothane's website, they don't list any. If you have a lathe, you could buy some Mustang ones, and turn them down to size. Some Cougars, and Rancheros use the same size bushing as Mavericks, if that helps in the search.
I got mine from here, http://www.performancesuspension.com/ They are here in Phoenix. I went in and the books didnt list a maverick but they looked up the stock bushing diameter somehow and then found a bushing the right diameter. That was 15 years ago, they may have listing for them by now.
Espo lists squat on thier web site. I sent them an email. Performance suspension only lists 3 urethane items for a maverick: Control arm bushings, sway bar end links and tie rod end boots. Also sent them an email. Does anybody have any other suggestions or know the dimensions for the maverick bushings?
Espo lists them for $3 each. Their site has changed a bit since I last visited. Click on the "Ford" tab, select model and year, and it's the 3rd item from the bottom...
Espo replied to my email. I ordered them today along with the fronts. The only concern I have is the size. The bushings are 1" OD and when I measure the opening in my springs I come up with 1.2" ID. Will the urethane crush when I tighten the shackle bolts and take up the space or will there be play?
I wish I did have a lathe because that sounds like the best way to get some bushings that will fit snug. I'm really worried about having play at the shackles now.
Where did you get the springs from? I bought mine thru JC Whitney, the rear eye diameter was bigger than the stock springs.
I got the bushings and they fit real nice with no play. I didn't measure them but I'm pretty sure they're bigger than 1". I had a new 1" rubber bushing that I tried in the spring and it had alot of slop. So I'm pretty happy these fit! I'll measure them and post the diameter here when I get a minute.
