We have a good friend who recently finished his '74 Maverick with a 351 Windsor engine out of a Mustang. I do not know what year Mustang. The Maverick already had the 351 in it when he bought it. It has no fan shroud. The car either did not have one or it was modified and broken. He has not run the car very much at all because he is concerned about over heating the engine. He wants to know what fan shroud he can use in the car and would he be better off with an electric fan set up. He has no intentions of racing the car, just driving and enjoying it.

I think I would suggest he drive it first and see if he even needs one. LOTS of cars out there with no shrouds.

If you need to use a shroud use one that fits the radiator, which I assume is the factory one.
