When switching from automatic trans to manual with a 250ci 6 cylinder which flywheel do you use ? I am getting various answers locally but am hoping someone on here has done this swap and knows the correct answer. I have been told to use a 289-302 type and have it neutral balanced and also that the 240 - 300 truck 6 cylinder flywheel is the one to use - SO which one ???

I used a 250 flywheel which is the same as the aftermarket SB zero balance flywheel when I did a t5 swap. I think the 240 fly wheel will work IF it's a 157 tooth. Most 3oo's are 164 tooth

Thank you for the info - I will check into those options.
