The 74 2 door I'm fixing up for my daughter cost me a year old Road Demon 625 carb. I got the4 wheels on a seperate deal for about $50.
The 72 I have for parts has a running 200 ci and c-4 but I had to pay $325 for it.

i picked up a 74 maverick grabber with 302, floor shift auto, black interior, and bucket seats for, this is the amazing part, FREE!!!! the guy wanted to get rid of it. it was just sitting in his back yard. i origionly was going to fix it up and let my brother drive it. but then on closer inspection it was way too rusted for me to spend the time and money fixing up. so i parted it out. there was nothing left of it when i was done. i'm currently refreshing the engine so that way i can put it in my car. i also had a 74 4 door that i got for $100. and i could have fixed that up. the only rust on the whole car was the rear wheel wells. they were completly rusted out. other than that the car was really solid. still have the engine out of it in my car right now. got the disc breaks off both cars. their was no way i was leaving them.

Picked up a 76 Mav off ebay $172 - no motor. When I went to pick it up, I think the guy selling it thought I was gonna yell at him about the condition it was in and how much I had to pay for that "wreck". He was hoping to get $50 out of it. When I saw it, I was real pleased, which puzzled the heck out of him.

It had a nice set of magnum 500's that I sold on ebay for over $300. That is what the other bidder in the auction was after, I came to find out later. So far I've sold about $600 off that car, and I still have a 5 lug rear, complete disc brake set up, all the glass, trim (including a perfect hood nose trim) and a few other odds and ends to remove.

    I love ebay!

Picked up my 73 4 door from NJ for free. I've put about $200 into it and it's now my daily driver.

i had some really good deals... i just hope no more of them come around cuz my wife will kill me!

    heres one deal

this car i got cheap! the girl saw my car 2 years prior to selling it to me. she wanted it cuz she like my car. 2 years later she called me and said it didn't start and was sitting for months and just wanted to get rid of it for $200 bucks!

i brought a battery to the location where it was.. checked out the car, stuck in the battery and it turned over! i said you sure you want to sell it? she said yes. i'm like "ok?" so i gave her $250 for it! the air even worked! i took a bunch of parts off of it and put them on my 73 mavericks. i lowered it put some old tires i had laying around on it and put about another 50 bucks in it and sold it back in 1993 for $750.00.. $750 was still a steal. i wish i kept it!

    heres another...

got this one for free! it ran too, no dents at all! it just had no reverse! had a perfect LDO gas cap on it too! took that off.. its on my 73 now. but i fixed the tranny and sold it back in 1991for $950! another steal for who ever bought it. if you notice the 74 plymouth valaint in the garage i sold that soon after for $750.. that was a good car it was ugly but i miss it!

the most current deal was what you guys have already seen that was about amost a year ago and thats this one

    http://www.maverickman.com/YellowMav.html

most of you know the story on that one.. everyone here was telling me i was stupid if i didn't get it! so i got it! (see this post http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=8402 )

i plan on keeping this one! unless someone wants to make me an offer i can't refuse!

someone just got in touch me again about if i wanted another maverick. i haven't seen it yet but what should i do?

i think if you look hard enough you can still find some good deals! but i think within the next 5 years you wont be able to touch a trashed maverick for under 2k.
