When I was at Columbus, I spoke with the manufacturer of fender covers they had with the logos of different cars like Mustang, Falcon, Galaxie and so on. These covers are of a soft cushoned material which is rugged and had a quality that won't allow tools to drop off of them at if the cover is at an angle. They were actually pretty nice and I can see how they would be less potentially damaging to paint then the ones that you can buy anywhere. They sell these for just under $18/each or two for $29. They make them in red and black.

Well, I asked them if they would consider doing a Maverick cover. They told me that if I could provide artwork and a market, they would. So I need two things from all of you.

    1) I need some good quality digital artwork of a Maverick logo to e-mail to them. That can be e-mailed to me.

    2) I need to know how many of you would be seriously interested in purchasing these. Obviously, they will make them if they can sell them.

Just FYI, I have nothing to do with these people business wise. This is NOT a money making thing for me AT ALL!! This is just something I thought of to do for all the members of this board. You can post here if you're interested and e-mail me anything else including the artwork. I'm thinking of the MAVERICK like on the fenders. I'm open to other ideas also.

    Whatcha think????

Keep up the replies, guys. I still need the artwork before I can contact the company owners.

I don't have a picture and they don't have a website. Didn't have my camera with me.

No problem, Lonnie. I'm glad you were satisfied. Nothing on the bumper. They are getting hard to find right now, but have faith. I'll find one eventually.

    How About This Wes....

    How about this for artwork?

Just a thought.....it's not a logo, but it's pretty simple. I got it somewhere and used it in a website once.

    Wes-

I'll get a pair, but I think you should make some money on this deal. After all you'll be doing the legwork to make it happen.
You should talk them into giving you a ten or twenty percent break on them and sell them through the Ford Exchange.
    Sounds reasonable to me.
    Anyone disagree?

I would be interested. I think that the simple Maverick script would look very nice on a set of those...
