    Well folks, the All Ford Nationals at Carlisle are just around the corner. ( June 3-5). I finally got our Mavericks registered yesterday and was wondering who will all be there. We will be there Saturday and Sunday. I can hardy wait to see everyone again.:bouncy: :bouncy: :bananaman :bananaman

    I'm there!!!! Friday morning till Saturday night. Can't wait!!!!!! If anyone needs any parts or wants to sell any parts between everyone that is going, we should start setting it up now. Don't forget your raincoat!!!!

    Here is a short list of items that I need from anyone that is going to Carlisle and can bring the items to sell to me: '70-'72 rear valance, rubber plugs that hold the interior insulation to the firewall (10).

    Dan, I bid on it but did not come close to the $225.50 final bid. I saw another NOS one at Carlisle last weekend and they wanted $275. It sucks to be poor!!!!!

    Used rear valances are not that tough to come buy. I can see buying NOS for items made of plastic, or chromed, or basically impossible or too expensive to restore to original. A straight $100 used rear valance is just as good as a $275 NOS one. Both are gonna be primed, sanded and painted anyway and nobody would ever know it was NOS except you. I only buy NOS when there is just no way to make it look perfect yourself and it is something that is easily seen at a car show - or if impossible to get used and repops are not available. Otherwise it is a restored used item or repop for me.

    Dan, I agree 100%!! All I want is a good used one for $100. That's why I didn't get the NOS ones.
