I'm still trying to find a timing pointer for my Maverick. It has a 1980 302. Will this type of pointer work? What do they mean by vehicles with 11o'clock TDC ?

I didn't want to spend that much but i'm tired of looking. I'm going to try a few local yards today but thought i'd ask about this.

That's a good deal. Those timing pointers are getting hard to find.:)

Over the years Ford had small block pointers at 2, 10, &11 o,clock. I know of one person on here that uses a pointer made from a coat hanger wire...
