I am getting ready to install the windshield and back glass. The question I have is. Are the back glass hold down clips the same the front windshield.. I have been told 2 different answers.. 1 that they are the same and 2 the clips on the back and the quarter window are a different style clip then the windshield.. It's driving me bat shit crazy.. I know you guy's will know.

They were different on my '71 and I confirmed this in the parts book. My book does not cover the '75. So, I dont know if there was a change. Check on ebay. That is where I got some new ones.

Trim install is an absolute pain. be prepared for lots of fun.

Mine were the same. That doesn't mean they were original though.

I would say 95% of the ones I remove from my parts cars are the same front and back.

Thanks 4 the help.. This car is a few months ( my goal is by summer ) from seeing the road for the 1st time since 1992. And it's these little things that I can't seem to find a answer on that drives me nuts.. Very appreciated.. Thank you..

When I went to look for some NOS ones, everything I saw was insanely priced.

Some eBay sellers have about a dozen aftermarket clips and replacement pins for around $20.

I did not need the pins so I just bought a box of 100 aftermarket rear clips for around $20.

I found the only way I could get the trim on was to heat up the rubber seal with a hair dryer. It still fought me the whole way and one or two in the rear just would never hook.
