Had my first run-in today! Was at a light headed back to work from lunch, when a purty '05/'06 Mustang Saleen pulled up next to me. I'm not much for initiating anything, but he made it pretty obvious he was interested too.
Was a pretty much dead-even race! I pulled a little on the top end, shift, and he'd pull...back and forth like that. Didn't take it up too high as it was on the street (and i'm sure he's got a lot better aerodynamics than i do!), but when we both let off my front bumper was at about his door. For the record though it's a 6-lane road and traffic was clear :162:
Posted my race up on a local board here and found out it's got a few things done to it:
We did a custom pulley, headers, and a throttle body and Rich (Ford dealer) sold it to him....Last time I had the car it was putting down about 430whp/416tq. -(local speed shop owner)

Anyways, just thought i would share :) Haven't had my Maverick running for almost 2 years, so it's only fair that i have some fun with it now.
