Thanks to white trash for posting a link to these, I picked up a set of '67 Caprice tail lights off ebay. These are very similar to the ones Mavaholic has on his Sprint, except these have a third red lens in the center instead of the clear back up lens. Worked a little here and there today on getting one side installed:

Will finish the other side tomorrow and hopefully get the turn signal sequencer modules from http://www.webelectricproducts.com/ hooked up. I'll put a video on YouTube of the turn signals doing their thing when I get it all finished sometime in the next couple of days. Installing these lights does require irreversible modifications to the tail panel.

Looks good Jamie. I was thinking about using 70-71 Torino GT tail lights (because it is a Ford Part :D)

Yea, I like the Torino lights too. I just wanted something that would be relatively easy to install and make it possible to run the sequential turn signals, because I love sequential turn signals. The second I saw these, I knew I had to have them. I think they will make the car safer as well, just the tail lights on these light up as bright as my brake lights used to on the stock and Bobcat lights. When you hit the brakes, they are very, very bright, and there is now 6 bulbs instead of two to top it off.

To handle the extra power requirements, I am running a new constant 12 volt (fused of course) wire back there and the original wire will just be used to activate a relay for the tail lights.

Looks good Jamie :thumbs2:, dont worry about them being a Chevy part. I have 71 Camaro bucket seats in my Grabber and they look like they were made for it just like those tail lights.

You gotta post some compare pics of the Bobcats and the Caprice lights.....showing overall size, depth, and the size hole you had to cut in the rear panel. I may go that route as well and all info is great....:thumbs2:

    Those look really sweet!
Can't wait to see them in sequential.

    Note on the Torino lights:
The angle of the outside curve of the lamps clashes with the curve of the Maverick tail panel. The difference is pretty extreme and in close quarters, so it really sticks out like a sore thumb. Softer curves like the Impala lamps compliment the tail panel.
Just my opinion from having seen the 70-71 tail lights on Mavs... Your opinion may vary... I like the Torino lights, just not on a Mav.

I like the Caprice lights better also, but both still look good too.

I think they look factory almost but what about a back up light? A couple of those round light down on the bottom panel would look nice I think.
Is that the car you got from me? What was I thinking?
