: And I notice the same improved results in my cars.
: One new chevy(Wife's), and the Maverick.
: I keep a log of the odometer reading, gallons, and price at each fillup.
: I haven't calculated an actual statistical figure, but there is higher
: mileage from premium fuel.

: I look at it this way.
: Average 20 gal a week.
: 20x52=1040gal a year.
: 1040 x 1.25(premium)= $1300.00
: 1040 x 1.19(regular)= $1237.60
: differece per year = $ 62.40
: While prices vary by date and location, were not breaking the bank to
: use the Premium fuel.

: I don't work for or own stock in any Petro company. I'm just stating that
: there are different things to consider in making this decision.

: If one is just commuting, and saving now is a factor, go with regular.

: If one wants to squeeze out performance, or maximize mileage, use premium.

: If someone just wants to vent, or argue without facts, feel free.
: But don't cloud the issue with rhetoric, or 'feelings'.

Regular Exxon is $1.75 a gallon where I live!
