my mini stock pinto has a '73 2000 cc and i constantly turn it about 6400 and it has 120,000 miles on it. another guy in my class of racing has a fresh 2.3l that he turns 6800-6900 every saturday nite. if you build a FORD 4 banger right it will last forever and you can get a lot of ponies out of them.
