When I got mine, it squeaked and knocked. the knocking came from the
bushing where the ilder arm met the center link. Not knowing any better
at the time, I replaced the link and the bushing. All I really needed
was the $ 2.99 polygraphite bushing. Replacing the idler arm did't hurt,
as it was pretty worn, but is wasn't cheap or absolutely neccesary.
The various squeaks were remedied by a thourough lube job. The upper
control arm will take a special fitting to lube, but is notorious for noise.
