I put duels from the manifolds. I had costum pipes made with a crossover pipe and Flowmasters mufflers, 2 1/2 " offset inlets and outlets on the mufflers . had to use 2" from the manifolds to the cross over then 2 1/2 from there to the mufflers . Had to use some 2" over the rear and the pipes come out under the rear bumper on the outside of the springs mufflers are under the rear footwells (no room beside the gas tank for duels
: I've been considering installing a dual exhaust system on my Comet since it has a serious exhaust leak and time for a small project.Will I have to cut the inner fenders so the heads/manifolds will have clearance ? and how would I go about getting over the rear axle ? Should I just go and have a custom made set?
