I haven't visited the FAQ for a long time...think it was a year ago when I first visited the 'board'. Well I went back for kicks and found a whopping 5 title articles. Most complain when a new comer asks an old question....you know.....v-8 swap, disc brake conversion, part swaps, big tires....well, you get the picture. I was wondering what has to be done to get these 'been there, done that' questions answers posted once and for all? I know Sam M. asked for input on the V-8 swap (with little feed back) and Paulie brought up the idea for listing donor vehicle parts....but like a good idea trying to get through Congress, these have seemed to died in committee. Think of all the room that would be saved on the message board if a frequent question could be answered with a simple "SEE FAQ". Besides, it would leave more room to make fun of the owners with Avocado interiors.....hahahhahahahhahahhah! Is this a job for Stefan?????? What do ya all think? P.S. and way off the subject, I saw a customized Mav. in a driveway, the guy painted "429" in small print next to and just in front of the front wheels. I know some have brought up the idea of the ultra-big block performance the state of the art Maverick/Comet, I'll post if I can find out more about this car...and it's big snorkel hood.
