You are right the FAQ does not cover much, but if you consider all of the possible articles that could come out of what has been talked about on this board it would be a huge time consuming task (way more than any one person has)to write all of them. It takes a lot of time to write articles to cover all of the things that will answer everybody's questions. I would be willing to write some articles for things that I have done with my car (351 conversion, disk brake swap, way to wide tires, suspension mods, etc.) If the powers that be (Stefan?) do not object. If it is OK, whoever writes a FAQ article could post it here first that way we could make sure that the information is as factual as possible. For now the Board Arcives is a great place to find infomation and also helps to avoid answering repetitive questions.
Everyone, (especially Stefan or who ever else is in charge) let me know if you think this is a good Idea or not, and if not I will climb back under my little rock.

PS don't worry TL I won't do any interior modifications articles :)

: I haven't visited the FAQ for a long time...think it was a year ago when I first visited the 'board.' Well, I went back for kicks and found a whopping 5 title articles. Most complain when a new comer asks an old question....you know.....v-8 swap, disc brake conversion, part swaps, big tires....well, you get the picture. I was wondering what has to be done to get these 'been there, done that' questions answers posted once and for all? I know Sam M. asked for input on the V-8 swap (with little feed back) and Paulie brought up the idea for listing donor vehicle parts....but like a good idea trying to get through Congress, these have seemed to died in committee. Think of all the room that would be saved on the message board if a frequent question could be answered with a simple "SEE FAQ". Besides, it would leave more room to make fun of the owners with Avocado interiors.....hahahhahahahhahahhah! Is this a job for Stefan?????? What do ya all think? P.S. and way off the subject, I saw a customized Mav. in a driveway, the guy painted "429" in small print next to and just in front of the front wheels. I know some have brought up the idea of the ultra-big block performance the state of the art Maverick/Comet, I'll post if I can find out more about this car...and it's big snorkel hood.
