I agree. I paid $1500 for my '72 2dr 302, auto, a/c with 59k miles last May. Perfect outside and great inside as well. I wouldn't have paid $500 for the same car as a 4-dr.

But I'm seeing some ridiculous prices asked for these piece-of-crap 4-doors with six cylinders, no A/C and high mileage. I'm devoted to my Maverick BUT it is NOT a Shelby Mustang that goes up in value as it gets older...
: : I agree that the price for the four door Maverick below is high, but I still havent got over the estimate value some of you gave for that Stallion on the old message board. How about if we let the value of our Mavericks go up? I realize there were a lot of them made, but I also know there are not that many left on the road especially of the more desireable (in my oppinion) 70-72.
