Sounds like you got a nice car, just keep in mind, the T5 doesn't hold up as well as it should. Also, most of the guys I use as reference are driving these cars hard on the 1/4 and as a daily driver too. I don't think you'll have a problem with yours, but I've driven a few myself with tranny problems. I love the feel of the T5, but it won't hold together with hard running.

not just BSing here, former mechanic, I hate tranny work on stangs too. its too damn tight in there.
