Although I do own a Mav or two I do have to say that I am a Mopar man. If you're looking for stock performance you can't do much better than Mother Mopar. The problem is that they are expensive! I'm in the process of restifying a '67 Plymouth and I could have done two Mavericks in the same time for the same amount of money. That's why I chose my Mav. My daily driver is just a 302, 4-door Mav, but it was cheap, it's dependable, and I can afford to work on it. I do prefer Mopars, but I'm not at all displeased with my Mavs.
