I've always been a Chevy man but I got a Ford cheap and I'm going to stick with it no matter all the Ford jokes I get from non-Ford friends, such as Found-on-road-dead, "fricked"-over-rebuilt-dodge, etc,. People want an arm and a leg for a 2dr Nova or Camaro or similar and part of the reason i got this so cheap was the resale values are low for Mavs especially ones with far-from-perfect bodies (also it was from a quality friend). But I was more interested in a FAST car than a good looking one and I got it AND as far as that goes FORD is fine with me! I just tell them Let's race!!!!

: Although I do own a Mav or two I do have to say that I am a Mopar man. If you're looking for stock performance you can't do much better than Mother Mopar. The problem is that they are expensive! I'm in the process of restifying a '67 Plymouth and I could have done two Mavericks in the same time for the same amount of money. That's why I chose my Mav. My daily driver is just a 302, 4-door Mav, but it was cheap, it's dependable, and I can afford to work on it. I do prefer Mopars, but I'm not at all displeased with my Mavs.
