do you mean remove the EGR Valve completely? does this do anything to performance? where do you get a spacer?
: Second, Disconnect the EGR Valve. Remove it and clean the port. Use a wire brush on a Dremel tool, or an old piece of spedometer cable. The old buildup can block it "open" even if the vacuum hose is removed. You can do this without taking it off of the car.
: Or you can spend and get a 1 inch spacer to replace the whole thing.
