Engine timing

Question for the experienced...

What should the timing on a 302 be set at for best performance?
My 74 is basically stock with an E-brock Performer RPM, Holley 600 CFM and dual exhaust.

Question #2, where in the hell can I get a timing pointer for this engine? Everybody and their brother sell one for SBC's but I can't find one for a small block Ford. Kind of useful for checking the timing...
