The 351 will fit without modifications, the tower braces can stay on. All I did was grind away a little from the ridge on the exhaust manifolds and droped it in. They ( the exhaust manifolds) touch on both sides and changing the plugs is a pain but it worked. I have since decited that 13.2@104 is to slow soI haev pulled my motor and am building it up to 425 to 450 hp. since it is out I am cutting back the shock towers so I can use headers. If anyone have doen this any sugestions would be greatly apriciated ( as far as how much I can cut, and what headers I should use.

: I sat a 351-w down in my comet,But I couldnt get any exhaust on,I tried Serval different manifolds, and a tried Headers.I couldnt get those to work.Im sure there is some manifolds that would work, somewhere,But i couldnt find any..SO i just forgot the 351-w idea, and bought a 302 and sat down in there.

: : :cutting the shock towers is not needed but, it makes things alot easier. I set the Block and heads in mine and it was tight but you could do it with madifolds or block hugger headers but, not much clearence
