It's an 8" if there are NO BOLTS on the back side (they're on the same side as the driveshaft goes in on an 8"). I don't think there was ever an 8" offered with 4 lugs from the factory...anyone got some insight on this?
: I know I need to swap rearends sometime. But is it true that if the back of my gear housing is smooth, it's an 8"? (the bolts go in toward the back)
