My Mav pulled when I got it last fall. The drag link bushing at the idler arm had deteriorated. Instatlled a new one (polygraphite-lifetime warranty) for about $5.00. (TrakAuto) I also replaced what was left of the sway bar bushings. (another 2.50 for rubber, but I couldn't wait to order polygraphite -- I had a deadline to meet for an inspection.)Invest the extra $3 or $4 and get polygraphite. I still have a barely noticeable pull, but nothing that affects handling. If I feel the need, I may replace the strut bushings. for $25, I'll definitely go with polyurethane.
Check the old message boards. There was a detailed post about using a PST front end rebuild kit.
One other relatively cheap thing to check. How are your shocks?
