I know its wrong. That may be right on that specific engine with the original cam, but what you get with a compression guage is dynamic compression. My compression on my car is around 140-145 lbs on all eight with a compression ratio of 8:1. If I put my cousin's Edelbrock cam in it (which I plan to do in a few months) it will raise my dynamic compression ratio, probably something like 175 lbs, but my actual compression ratio will still be 8:1.
Don't want to argue, but if ya aint here to learn, then what are ya doing here?
