$400 is a great buy as long as it is not a rust-bucket-from-hell & does not have major frame damage..
: I found a 1973 with a V8 (size?) needs new rod bearings, but the body and interior is in great shape. The engine is not the original. The car has dual exhausts, but only one side is hooked up. Is that a clue as to what the original engine may have been? I'm a female, looking for a "tinker toy" so I can self-teach myself some auto mechanics. I already can do quite a few things. At $400 is this Maverick a good buy?
