Squeaky front end.

Two Problems that I could use help with.

1 Front end sarted squeaking where should I start to look to correct that, if it turns out to be bushings what should i look for when inspecting them to find the bad one or should i just change them all?

2. Tranny trouble. When she is cold the car won't go into First gear or Reverse. She "pops" into gear after a second of reving the engine. This is an auto so I guess I am looking at tranny trouble could it be something else?
