No, the Mustang frame mounts will not work. I just went through that process. I finally located some from a V8 Mav parts car and everything worked out great. You need to be sure to get the correct motor mounts too as some V8 mounts are thicker than others causing a bad misalignment. You'll also need early model exhaust manifolds or headers made for the Maverick. Most late model 302 manifolds are too thick and will hit the inner shock tower.
