Hi Jay, what I'm going to tell you is against my better judgement as I don't think I could part out a 71 Mav 302 car...unless it was a 4door. But if ya gotta do it, I think you need to make good use of that 302 car. I'd changed everything you have over to the other one including all of the suspension. It's nice to be able to have all the parts right there when you do a swap over. You're gonna need engine and frame mounts, transmission mount and lines, kickdown rod for automatic, radiator, accelerator cable, and quite a few other things that don't even come to mind right now. Just think how much fun you'd have if you had to go find all of that stuff from elsewhere. I wish you luck, and if you change your mind about stripping that car down, let me know. I have three 71's right now and wouldn't mind adding a few more to the pack. I too am hoping to have two of mine at the next Mav meet so I hope to see everyone there.
