i just finished my 302 up a while back,its wht i call my training
motor,cuz i spent a lot of time getting my computer software
and my motor to agree on things,thus saving me the $$$ and time of changing parts to find out. i will say u can expect 270 or so HP
and maby up to 300Hp. but at 300 your talking getting up over 6000 rpm.
dont let the HP fool ya. most people think they have more than they realy do anyway (kinda like telling people about the fish they caught).
but they do make nice little motors and still get good gas milage.
