:Aaron, you have to use the manual pitman arm, (the arm between the steering box & center link) for the steering to match up, also PST suspensions has new Manual center links for $75. Highly recommended. Also make sure with the Granada front discs that you use the Granada pressure differential valve.

HI all,
: I am in the process of converting my 71 comet to manual steering from power. I went to a junk yard and get the center section and tie rods and idler arm from an early 70's maverick to mock it all up before I order new parts. I also have converted to Granada front disk brakes. My question is the old power rack, where it connected to the power steering box had a joint (like a tie rod end) that went up, from the bottom into the steering box arm, while my new manual rack points down. I would like to continue to use the power steering box if at all possible but unless I have it all put together wrong it does not look like it will work. Am I doing something wrong? And advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
: Thanks in advance
