Thanks,
I will go back and pick up a pitman arm from the junk yard this weekend, At first glance they looked the same but now that makes sence. I was planning on going with a complete PST front end rebuild along with a new center link, I just wanted to mock it up with used stuff to make sure that it works. By pressure differential valve do you mean the proportioning valve? I already bought an aftermarket adjustable one, if not to you mean the residual pressure valve for the rear brakes?
Thanks again for the info, you probably saved my alot of time trying to figure out what I did wrong.

:Aaron, you have to use the manual pitman arm, (the arm between the steering box & center link) for the steering to match up, also PST suspensions has new Manual center links for $75. Highly recommended. Also make sure with the Granada front discs that you use the Granada pressure differential valve.

: HI all,
: : I am in the process of converting my 71 comet to manual steering from power. I went to a junk yard and get the center section and tie rods and idler arm from an early 70's maverick to mock it all up before I order new parts. I also have converted to Granada front disk brakes. My question is the old power rack, where it connected to the power steering box had a joint (like a tie rod end) that went up, from the bottom into the steering box arm, while my new manual rack points down. I would like to continue to use the power steering box if at all possible but unless I have it all put together wrong it does not look like it will work. Am I doing something wrong? And advice and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
: : Thanks in advance
