:it's the 60s bulls--t that got kids like you the knowledge that they have and if you'd get your head out of the fan you might know that 90s technology makes a big block cheaper, reliable, streetable, and still run fast, with room for your four buddies which in your case probably doesn't exist.

And it's the `90's technology that has show the "big block crowd" the tail lights of cars sportin 1/2 the cylinders with 1/3 the displacement. I'm not saying the big blocks are not powerful or fast, I'm saying that they are no longer king of the hill as you claim. And I don't know who your calling kid, unless you're an old fart.

:You sure are good at making up why this and why that excuse for why something didn't work. You defination of STOCK isn't stock after you talk about this mod and that mod, and by the STOCK specs you gave I know of no NHRA dragstrip that will even let you run in the 10s, check the rules, fool. It's for your safety and everyone around you.

You obviously can't read. If you notice, I said stock CASTINGS for most of the modified parts. As in available at junkyards for cheap. Porting can be done by most people at home, and all the modifications are those that would be done to almost any engine built for high performance. So where do you see excuses. As for the NHRA rules, he runs that car regularly and it passes tech inspection just fine. Only part that would normally not pass teck would be the flexplate, and untill about 3 months ago, noone made an SFI approved plate, so they could not fail him for it. Now that there is one available, it will be switched. never heard of any other rules stating that stock engine components were not allowed, and I have the NHRA book on my desk.

:As far as "owning a 75 Camaro" I've only owned one nonFord car 73 340 Challenger. Tunnel rams and turbos stay on the shelf together where they belong.

Turbo's on the shelf? Good place for them. You can sell them later on to recoupe some of the money you lose in a race to a "slow ass" 4 cylinder turbo car :)

:I have owned and driven Fords and nonFords that you've only read about.

Gee, I'm almost impressed, but not quite. What's that got to do with being stuck in the `60's?

:Guess it just takes someone that knows what they're doing to build a big block that does it all.

No, any moron can build a big block. They been doing it for years. And to build a big block that "does it all" as you claim, costs alot of money as most stock parts (even modified stock parts) are not up to the task.

:Counts you out "bug juice".

Uh oh, you've resorted to calling people childish names. Does that make you feel like a real man now? Good, something has to :)
