I went to CJ Poney Parts today & checked out the different years. I took my 77 Maverick to check the fitting. The 65-66 Mustang has the correct shape and the clips are in the correct position to work on a 70 - 72 Maverick. Its too long so you have to cut it down but it will work perfectly. For the 73 to 77 Mavericks where the strip goes from fender to fender we took measurements & made a template. They are going to have their supplier manufacture us a correct & direct replacement. I've placed an order already & he said they should be done in about 10 - 14 days. Cost will be around $10 plus shipping. If you like, you can waite to see how the preliminary ones fit.
