I have seen this problem on Mavericks as well. It could be a simple problem, or a big headache. I have seen cars where the entire cowl is shot....and I have seen where just the "hats" or collars have to be replaced. I have seen the plastic repair kits. Believe me, that is just a temporary fix. It will rust out around the plastic. Either seek out a good body shop or another car. The nice part about this repair is that it doesn't have to be "cosmetically good", just done right.

: : Just wondering if anyone has had a problem with the cowl vents rusting and leaking water all over the floorboard? How did you fix them?

: I have not had this problem, but i hear it's common on the Maverick and the Mustang,so here's what I have for you!
: Part #02228-1,cost $14.95 from National Parts Depot.
: This is a repair collar kit, have a hunch that Accu-Form may have made this, and if they did I'll bet they work just fine,Just wher do you live? The reason I ask is cause I have a few 800#s For the parts depot just depends where you live, let me know,Later Tom
