Two things, Tom: B.F.Goodrich T/As SUCK. They have a poor temperature rating and low treadwear rating and will NOT last. Second--225/70-14s are way too tall. Go with 225/60-14s. I have 235s on mine but will eventually (when I can afford it) go with 225/55R-16s. The only way you'll have clearance problems is if your wheels have too much or too little back-spacing. Stick with 3.5"-4.0" back-spacing. Right now I'm using Goodyear Eagle ST tires but Cooper makes good tires as well...

: OK folks, help me out if you can. Will be buying new wheels and tires soon.Have not picked out the wheel yet,but I think it will be a 14x7 five lug.
: So whats the best tire?
: BFGoodrich Radial T/A
: Firestone FIREHAWK SS10
: Goodyear Eagle GA
: Will a P225/7014 have "any" clearance problems?
