I was always a Mustang guy, but in early '82, I was
broke, and needed transportation, A friend had a early
'70 Mav(21xxx mi) that his insurance co. had totaled when
someone pushed the LR quarter panel into the trunk. I bought it,
drove it, found out that Mustang parts would fit, then
restored it, 302'd it, showed it, raced it(steetable
11.80s). This car is now a tube framed, 514 cu in super
gasser pure race car. Along the way, I picked up another
'70(18xxx mi). that's showroom fresh. This car is currently
getting a 377 Cleveland roller motor/toploader, to show my
late Mustang yo-boy customers what street performance is all
about.
