You also need the support bar that goes under the engine that only comes with the 302...it is basically located under the oil pan.
We parted out an older one to get the parts to put a 302 in my sons Mav,
: Okay, so heres the deal. I have a '74 four door which I'm putting a 302 in (in place of a 250). The engine is ready to go in, but I've run into a problem. The motor mounts I have do not line up with the chasis mounts when the engine is bolted to the tranny. The chasis mounts I have are from a '73 maverick. Specifically, the motor mounts sit too far forward. Do I simply need motor mounts from a different year (I think the motor mounts themselves are for '74), or is there some other problem.
