I have a stupid repair trick for you. I once put the floor jack under my Maverick, and then bent over and looked underneath as I jacked it up. It all of a sudden got real hard to jack, so I pushed harder....then harder. I heard a "creeking"...and I looked up and realized I was driving my open hood up into the rafters of my garage. Bent the living Sh*t out of my hood. Now that was stupid.
