He probably wants to shave weight. I don't know how much a fiberglass Grabber hood weighs but believe it or not, the original steel Grabber hood is lighter than the standard "flat" hood and it looks cool to boot. 1972 was the last year of the Grabber hood for the American models. I want to somehow make custom fiberglass "scoop" inserts (functional) for my steel Grabber hood...
