: I have a 70 Maverick with a 200 six cylinder. It only has 40,000 miles on it. Lately it has started missing/dragging(?) when I accelerate, usually going uphill. It seems to be getting worse each day. Any suggestions?
Carb problems? Have you checked your connections? I could be something simple or something painfully expensive... (check your bank account... I KNOW my maverick has a build in money detecter... when I have it, she want's something...)
:Also, I seem to be losing oil at about a rate of a quart a month, even though the car doesn't smoke at all. Is this a characteristic of Mavericks, or is something really wrong here?
EUUUHHH!!!! Check for leaks (or find a REPUTABLE mechanic... skip the minute lube places....) That's NOT common...Is she getting hot? (I know with your car, unless you've had it modifide the only way you'l know is A) idiot lights B) you get instant suntan when you lift the hood.
Best of luck!!
: Love my Maverick!!!
Don't we all? Say, just on the by and... is she an early or late 70?
