Don't try to compare your 300 i-6 to a Maverick 250 because they are NOT the same engine. Also; if you've ever driven a 460 equipped Ford, you'd know that that no six cylinder would have a snowball's chance in hell of hanging with it (at ANYspeed) and neither would a 302. People just need to stop trying to fool "mother nature". If you own a Maverick and you like it, then I don't care what engine it has, as long as you're happy with it. But don't make ridiculous statements like saying an inline six performes like a V-8 because it just shows ignorance...
