Hey guys. where is a good place to find a maverick engine in good shape for dirt cheap? (kind of a contradiction, but its worth trying to ask!) i have noticed oil being spat from my second cylinder. i asked the guys at auto zone, and they said it was the cylinder rings or something like that, and i will probably need a new engine. yet another thing on the list of whats wrong with my car. BUT......

even though i have rattling in the front end, my front brake pads and rotors are crap, my trunk doesnt open, and now my cylinder is spitting oil, my car still runs great. if i just change the spark plug whenever it goes bad (every couple of days), it runs like new for a few more days. its no biggie, since i use the el cheapo ford motorcraft spark plugs. ($1.39 with tax at auto zone) i knew that it was an old car when i bought it, and i thought i would be lucky if it lasted me 4 months. even if it breaks down tomorrow (unlikely), i love my mav, and i have no regrets in buying it, and if i ever get another chance someday, i will buy another one. (hopefully in better condition!)
