Why was my horn going off at 6 this moring?

I went outside this morning, and hurd a car horn going off. I quickly reliezed it was my car horn. It stopped after a few secounds, so I went down and poped the hood, and it started going off again, so I pulled the hot wire off the horn. Any ideas on what's causeing this? I'm guessing it's either a wiring problem, or morning dew in the horn thing on the stering wheel.
