: The whole point of a cross-flow radiator is to allow for a lower hood-line...Mavericks have a high hood-line so cross-flow isn't necessary...

: : Stopped at a local speed shop, and he has some aluminum cross flows for around $200. The widths are 22-30 in two inch incriments, and the height is 19". Tanks on the sides. No tranny cooler inside, so an external is necessary. As soon as I get more, I'll let you know, and put it on my web page.

The water flow is slowed due to the crossflow configuration. This alaws for more hang time in the cooling area. The aluminum adds alot to the cooling as well. I have talked with too many hot roders conserning the aluminum crossflow. They work 20-40% better than a down-flow, which is enough for me, considering I'm about to get the A/C hooked up, and it runs at 205-210 in stop and go traffic.
