That's pretty hot considering my Mav runs around 185 deg. That is with the stock 3-ROW radiator (A/C cars, 180-deg. thermostat, and a fan shroud...Before I got the shroud, It ran 10 degrees hotter!!!...

: : The whole point of a cross-flow radiator is to allow for a lower hood-line...Mavericks have a high hood-line so cross-flow isn't necessary...

:
: : : Stopped at a local speed shop, and he has some aluminum cross flows for around $200. The widths are 22-30 in two inch incriments, and the height is 19". Tanks on the sides. No tranny cooler inside, so an external is necessary. As soon as I get more, I'll let you know, and put it on my web page.

: The water flow is slowed due to the crossflow configuration. This alaws for more hang time in the cooling area. The aluminum adds alot to the cooling as well. I have talked with too many hot roders conserning the aluminum crossflow. They work 20-40% better than a down-flow, which is enough for me, considering I'm about to get the A/C hooked up, and it runs at 205-210 in stop and go traffic.
