You can use some play-doe to check it. Make some cylinders using the play-doe. Place them on top of your air cleaner. Close the hood. The play-doe will smash down to the usable space between the cleaner and the hood. Then you can check the height difference the Victor will be from your current intake. That is if you have the play-doe tall enough.
I have the 1" plastic spacer, and a drop down 14" Edlebrock breather. There is almost two inches space to the hood from there. That should give you at least two inches. Of course the 351 has a taller deck height.
