I have a 73' grabber 302, it was replaced a few thousand miles ago with the old parts put back on. I have to fill up every four days (about 8-10 miles to the gallon), thats if I drove the speed limit. (16 gal tank) I remember the engine guy who RIPPED me off say to retorque the heads around this time. How do I do that? or should I take it to a shop? also I want to upgrade to disc brakes all around, and in the "mustang and other fords" mag it showed how. but I read somewhere else that I would have to take the pedal assembly from a mav with front disc brakes for some odd reason. the mag didnt mention that when doing the same to a mustang 4 corner drum setup. is it a play by ear thing or, what?i dont want the same setup as a later model mav. i want the full on aftermarket safety/performance discs.
