I own a stang too. 88 GT 5 spd that I bought new, 14,000 actual miles and its a fast and fun car but i still like my maverick better. Also I might add that i have a couple other fords and 3 chevy's a VW bug, and a 60 Pontiac that I am restoring, so while i do bleed Ford blue I am just a car nut at heart and love um all!!

: My point is they both look cool, but the pony is a bit more expensive but the parts are easier to come by. A bunch of stuff is interchangable but not everything. For the cost I would say keep the Maverick and Cherry it out. In the next 15 Years Mavs will be EVERY BIT as collectable as any Muscle car.
